Spotless Inc
Spotless Inc was made during Global Game Jam 2018.
It's about an ordinary working day at Spotless Ink, a intergalactic cleaning company that specializes at cleaning planets.
It has 12 levels and some story elements.






Game Design
In general:
The player has to aim and shoot it's rope-like self to a living organism. Then they can shoot themselves again from the point of that living organism. The point is to connect as many organisms per level as they can. And then blow them up.
Puzzle shooter:
The player need to pick the order of their targets well and in some cases also act quick. As cars might break their chain or organisms might run out of reach.
Hold to explode:
After hitting the minimum amount of organisms the player must still explode them. Sometimes there can be time pressure to do so. But pressure or not, it feels very fun to hold the button, the camera starts the shake and then... boom boom boom. The targets explode in reversed order.
Level Design
Control explainer:
The game has an intro level in which the player can freely learn about the shooting mechanic.
Moving targets:
Moving targets add a nice amount of extra skill and excitement to the game.
Moving obstacles:
Moving cars force the player to think about the order in which to hit the targets. They also force the player to act fast.
Several ways to end:
Levels have several solutions. Mostly an easy and a harder one. It's up to the player to decide what they are satisfied with.
